In 2021, his work, highlighting the effectiveness of COVID 19’s disinfection strategy during the epidemic, was rewarded with an Archdiocesan Archpastoral Commendation by the Esztergom-Budapest Archdiocese. As the Director General of the Home for the Elderly and Psychiatric Patients named after St Nicholas in Burgenland, Austria, he gained international experience in the field of dementia care and psychiatric care.From 2022, he will be the first Hungarian to become a full member of the European Ageing Network.
Michael, as a head chef, led during the last years few of the most successful and famous restaurants in Budapest like TLV Eatery, Vicky Barcelona, Meshuga, Lisboa bakery etc. With his experience Michael is building the menu at the Rege Residence according to seasons and experience. As well together with the kitchen team he built the most healthy menu for our residents.
